Transforming Lives through Rural KPO
Uplifting Rajasthan’s villages through tech-driven jobs and education for women, inspiring lasting change.
Elevating Women through Tech-Driven Livelihoods
Ekakanya is committed to creating sustainable livelihoods that transform lives and empower communities. The Rural KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcing) Center stands as a pioneering all-women digital microwork outsourcing hub, designed to provide meaningful employment, skill development, and economic independence to young women in the remote villages of Rajasthan’s Bassi Block.
Launched as a key initiative alongside its flagship Parinati program, the Rural KPO Center tackles gender disparities by equipping women with essential tech skills and access to stable jobs. In collaboration with Indivillage Tech Solutions, Ekakanya fosters a supportive ecosystem that enables women to break free from traditional constraints and emerge as first-generation earners.
Inspiring Change through Action
Ekakanya celebrates the transformative impact of its initiatives, empowering rural women and girls in Rajasthan to lead with confidence and create lasting change.
The Rural KPO Center and broader programs reflect its commitment to action that transforms lives, as evidenced by the milestones achieved across its multi-year efforts. These achievements highlight the strength and potential of every individual it supports.
For many girls, the first digital device they ever touched was not their own phone but one shared by the entire family. That single screen became a portal to freedom. Access to their own device—such as the smartphones provided through the Parinati Project—and digital literacy classrooms at the Parinati Center have made it possible for girls to continue their education after household chores or during school closures.
Digital training at the Parinati Center also includes education on cyber safety and privacy, ensuring that online spaces remain secure and respectful. Initiatives that combine access with awareness build not only learners but leaders.
Our training employs a hands-on approach combining practical sessions with mentorship. We focus on tailored modules covering Microsoft Office, internet navigation, digital security, cyber-crime and basic computing, delivered through interactive workshops, while ongoing support builds confidence and sustains learning.
Ekakanya leverages a dedicated team of trainers, state-of-the-art digital resources, and a network of rural centers to deliver impactful training. With over 500 hours of curriculum and scalable programs, we adapt to diverse learning needs, supported by community engagement and a proven track record of transforming lives since 2015.
Take Lalita from the village of Kishanpura. Married at age 16, she later joined the Parinati Program. Through her determination and perseverance, Lalita became digitally literate and now works at a Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) Center as a Senior Data Processing Analyst.
These are not isolated successes. Across project villages, stories like Lalita’s echo the message that education is not about privilege—it is about persistence. Each success adds another chapter to a collective story of progress.
Digital learning succeeds when families and communities believe in it. Mothers who once feared the internet now sit beside their daughters, watching lessons together. Fathers contribute part of their income to data packs. Village councils allocate funds to create shared digital classrooms. Change becomes sustainable when the whole community participates.
As Ekakanya highlights, involving parents in girls’ education multiplies outcomes—attendance improves, dropout rates decline, and aspirations rise. When digital learning becomes a household value, it becomes unstoppable.
